The New Trailer For MMA Hits Online

The new trailer for Dante Lam's newest action drama, MMA (a.k.a. Unbeatable), is officially on the internet. The film stars Nick Cheung, Eddie Peng, Mei Ting, Crystal Lee, Philip Keung, Jack Kao, Andy On and Wang Baoqiang.

MMA is based on a story and screenplay co-written by Lam along with Candy Leung, Jack Ng and Fung Chi-fung with action choreography and coordination by Ling Chi-wah and Henry Chan. Ling's credits include getting worked on Lethal Weapon 4, Jet Li's 1998 action thriller Contract Killer, Donnie Yen-starrer 14 Blades, and the Yuen Woo-Ping epic action adventure, True Legend. 

MMA is reportedly slated for an August eight, 2013 release. Stay tuned for updates.

Cheung is also slated to star in the upcoming release of Benny Chan's most recent crime thriller, The White Storm later this year.

SYNOPSIS:
Soon after a stint in prison for participating in underground boxing, 48-year-old Fai is knee-deep in debt with no remedy in sight. After a contender in the boxing planet, he is now a broken man who operates in a gym as a janitor and an assistant instructor in weight loss classes. With no income, Fai is arranged to share a property with recovering mental illness sufferer Gwen and her ten-year-old daughter Dan. Even though their co-existence begins out as hostile, it gradually turns into a family-like bond - with Fai acting as the pair's protector. Hot-blooded young man Qi was as soon as the son of a rich man in mainland China. However, the loved ones company failed, sending his dad into alcohol-fueled depressing and forcing Qi to take up black marketplace jobs in Macau for survival. To inspire his father to stand up once again, Qi enters an open MMA competitors and begins training at Fai's health club. Nevertheless, Qi's fourth opponent in the tournament is Lee Yuan-Heng - a fighter ideal identified for his ferocity in the ring...
