New Posters, Costume Displays And Magazine Shoots Mark Final Push For ONCE UPON A TIME IN VIETNAM


Actor and action filmmaker Dustin Nguyen tends to make his directorial debut in the upcoming domestic release of When Upon A Time In Vietnam (a.k.a. Lua Phat) on August 22, 2013. With the film obtaining earned the focus of distributors at the Cannes Film Festival back in Could, promotion is now heavy and underway.

This contains new character posters on popcorn boxes, outside banners, public displays of the film's featured costumes for the film from designer and creator Bao Tranchi, and the official behind-the-scenes footage of the film at the moment circulating television networks in Vietnam. In additon to this, actress and co-star Veronica Ngo also shared the moment with a group of models for a spectacular photo shoot for Vietnamese fashion and beauty periodical, Dep Magazine, with on-hand photogragrapher Brandon Showers, who also shot the promotional posters for the movie.

Clearly, Nguyen and production business, BHD, have no allusions about what they are carrying out, as they are looking to break the mold in bringing the country's very first ever fantasy martial arts action thriller with an electric cast, led by an exceptional actor coming into his own as a filmmaker. And with the domestic premiere significantly less than a month away, martial arts cinema fans can be positive to hear news of a much wider release, and even greater prospects for the director and the creative genius behind this hotly anticipated film.

Once Upon A Time In Vietnam stars, and is written, made and directed by Dustin Nguyen, and also created by Quang Minh Do. The film also stars Veronica Ngo, Thai Hoa, Jason Ninh CaoDinh Ngoc Diep and Roger Yuan who directs the action along with actor and stunt coordinator, Bui Van Hai.
