47 Ronin Gets More International Push From Japan!

A new international trailer came on-line this week for the Japanese release of the new action adventure film, 47 Ronin. The film is the most current spin on the classic tale of a small army of samurai out to avenge the death of their master, directed by Carl Rinsch and starring Keanu Reeves, Hiroyuki Sanada, Kô Shibasaki, Rinko Kikuchi and Tadanobu Asano.

Check out two new posters for the film obtainable below. 47 Ronin opens in Japan on December six, 2013, followed by its North American Christmas Eve release from Universal Photographs.

Keanu Reeves makes an explosive return to an action-adventure in 47 Ronin. After a treacherous warlord kills their master and banishes their type, 47 leaderless samurai vow to seek vengeance and restore honor to their people. Driven from their homes and dispersed across the land, this band of ronin have to seek the help of Kai (Reeves)—a half-breed they when rejected—as they fight their way across a savage world of mythic beasts, shape shifting witchcraft and wondrous terrors.
As this exiled, enslaved outcast becomes their most deadly weapon, he will transform into the hero who inspires this band of outnumbered rebels to seize eternity.
