'Snow White' Writer Evan Daugherty Penning G.I. Joe 3

With Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick moving on from G.I. Joe: Retaliation to the waiting-in-limbo comic book adaptation of characters Deadpool and Venom, production for G.I. Joe three will bring screenwriter Evan Daugherty on board. The report from THR comes in roughly 3 months right after director Jon M. Chu announced the film back in July with Retaliation co-stars Bruce Willis and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson confirmed to return, while a writer was nonetheless getting "narrowed down".

G.I. Joe: Retaliation premiered on March 29, 2013, nine months right after its release date in which Chu decided the film necessary a "conscientious" 3D conversion. Evidently, Retaliation, and its predecessor, G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, earned effectively more than $ 600 million dollars at the box workplace in spite of the word of critics, with Rotten Tomatoes handing the 1st and second film a 34% and 28% rating, respectively.

Although Bruce Willis will be in New Orleans for a villain-role in the October shoot for director Sark Andreasyan's upcoming crime thriller, The Prince.

In addition, Chu is also tapped to bring fantasy swordplay actioner, Masters Of The Universe back to the large screen until further notice.
