MAN OF TAI CHI Gets The IMAX Treatment

IMAX Corporation has announced that Keanu Reeves' martial arts directorial debut, Man Of Tai Chi will play on IMAX screens in pick cities on October 24, 2013 in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Boston and New York. The film is currently obtainable via the VoD market as of September 27, 2013, and characteristics martial artist, actor Tiger Chen in his 1st lead part for an American audience.

The film also stars Reeves along with Karen Mok and Simon Yam, with legendary action master Yuen Woo-Ping directing the fight sequences. Man Of Tai Chi releases nationwide on November 1, courtesy of Radius TWC.

SYNOPSIS:
In the midst of Beijing’s urban bustle, ambitious young ‘Tiger’ Chen Lin-Hu (Tiger Chen) performs as a lowly courier but following work, he is a young martial arts star, increasing by way of the ranks representing the Ling Kong Tai Chi tradition.  
He has crafted the stealthy, peaceful movements of Tai Chi and sculpted them to suit martial arts’ competitive fighting planet. Jumping to yet another central city of pandemonium and chaos, Donaka Mark (Keanu Reeves) is evading the police in Hong Kong although running an underground fight club exactly where cold hard money is produced by defeating one’s opponent in a no-holds barred fight privately broadcast to wealthy patrons.  
Searching for a new ‘star’, Donaka tries to lure Tiger with the guarantee of simple money. Entrance into this globe brings out the darkest side of Chen Lin-Hu, but he wants the money. His skill saves him in the ring but can he fight and sustain his integrity and very good nature?
