Syndicate Shoutout: ALEX CHUNG

At about six years old, Alex Chung began his pursuit of martial arts in Tae Kwon Do. And in the years there following, he also took up Judo and Boxing. Influenced by a healthful blend of American Hollywood blockbusters and classic 80's Hong Kong action cinema, Alex would at some point discover himself sharing related circles with fellow Canadian actor, DL MacDonald, prior to starting their personal martial arts stunt team, Eclipse Stunts, as nicely as his own independent film group, Heroic Melon Collective.

Alex described his experience in functioning with 1 of Canada's brightest and talented film groups. He says "Working with Eclipse is fantastic. It is a excellent mix of company and pleasure. When we're working on stuff, we're obtaining such a very good time it feels like we're just hanging out. Same point functioning with other indie action groups. It's a actually warm community."

Now 25, Alex hopes to share the set someday with fellow contemporary martial arts cinema heavy hitters like Michael Jai White and Scott Adkins. And by the looks of Alex's latest action reel, clearly ready he is to measure up and take his craft all the way to represent his team in an industry he was meant for.
