Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson To "Dance With An Old Friend" For FAST AND FURIOUS 7

In an epic tweet that got the Twittersphere going, actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson confirmed his returning function in director James Wan's seventh installment of the Quickly And Furious saga. In response to a follower asking if Johnson would come back on board, the actor tweeted, "I am. Time to dance w/ an old friend.. #RockvsStatham".

The tweet confirms a slowly progressing list of cast members who will be returning given that Furious 6, along with new actors on board. Additionally, this ultimately points to a Facebook post a week ago in which actor Vin Diesel shared an old photo taken with actress and Quick And Furious Trilogy II co-star Gal Gadot, saying "The characters introduced in F7, will expand the Quick Universe in a extremely cool way." Granted, it doesn't say significantly and only draws a lot more hype, but the reality that he mentions this with additional reflection on the role of Gisele played by Gadot, stating,"Gisele, one particular of my favored characters introduced in the last trilogy...A quite resilient character... with a depth and complexity that hints at more to come..." is worth noting amidst all the continual excitement throughout the new film's current shooting schedule in Georgia.

Following actor and The Expendables three co-star Jason Statham's cameo appearance at the finish of Furious six, Diesel and Johnson will be reprising their roles from the series, along with leads Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Christopher "Ludacris" Bridges, Tyrese Gibson and Lucas Black. New to the franchise for Quickly And Furious 7 are Nathalie EmmanuelKurt Russell, Tony Jaa and Djimon Hounsou. The film was written by Chris Morgan will Neal H. Moritz making with Diesel, and will release on July 11, 2014, courtesy of Universal Photographs.

Quickly And Furious 7 will precede the July 25 release of Johnson's next film, Hercules: The Thracian Wars, from director Brett Ratner, although Jason Statham's subsequent film, Homefront, will arrive in theaters later this year on November 27. Johnson is also becoming mentioned to lead the theatrical rendition of the classic Television show, The Fall Guy, with McG directing from a script by Zack Stentz and Ashley Edward Miller, with Ashok Amritraj, Walker F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald producing.
