It's All-Out War In The New Trailer For FIRESTORM

Writer/director Alan Yuen puts out his subsequent action thriller, Firestorm, this December with lead actor and producer Andy Lau, who plays a cop on a desperate manhunt for a ruthless criminal and his network. September saw the unveiling of the film's new poster art, in addition to the airing of the 1st trailer for the US $ 20M feature, to which you can view the newest trailer from Edko Films via their Youtube.

The film also stars Yao Chen, Gordon Lam, Hu Jun, Ray Lui and Eddie Cheung.

SYNOPSIS:

A storm is heading to the city, and with it comes yet another occurrence so destructive, it vows to bring down every little thing it touches. 

A crew of seasoned criminals led by the notorious Nam (Hu Jun), armed with high-powered weapons, pulls off another smooth and violent armored vehicle heist in broad daylight in a crowded street. Whoever tries to get in their way, they will show no mercy. This puts the police force to shame and humiliation. 

A hardboiled senior police inspector Lui (Andy Lau), hot on the trails of Nam and his tight crew, determines to put an end to this madness that causes the lives of innocent individuals. But he soon comes face to face with the cruel reality that the usual police tactics are too futile to send these armed thieves behind bars. Intense crime demands intense justice, even if it indicates crossing his moral line. Tou (Lam Ka Tung), an ex-con desperate to leave his criminal past behind, volunteers to be Lui's snitch in exchange for a fresh commence with her girlfriend Bing (Yao Chen). But tiny does he know what hellish predicament he's receiving himself into. 

Whilst Nam is placing together his subsequent big score, the two colliding forces from both sides of the law, every at the leading of their games, will quickly face their archenemies. As Lui's hunt heats up, their ultimate confrontation is about to take place on the streets. 

As the storm passes by way of and the dust settles, whoever survives can hardly cope with its horrifying aftermath.
