Tom Everert Scott And Orlando Jones Take On JCVD In ENEMIES CLOSER

If getting an action movie fan teaches you nothing else, it will teach you that actors Tom Everett Scott and Orlando Jones are ready to deal with themselves on the set of a Peter Hyams action thriller. Yep! The exact same director who brought you the badassery in the 1990's Timecop and Sudden Death is prepared to deliver you one particular gritty, brutal, bloody piece of action cinema, partering when again with Jean-Claude Van Damme for their most recent film, Enemies Closer. The film tells the story of two sworn enemies who are forced to battle their way through a Van Damme and his small, very trained army of baddies deep in the night.

Moreover, with son, John Hyams handling the editing, the truth that John shares his own directorial credits which incorporate the Cung Le starrer, Dragon Eyes, followed by Universal Soldier: Day Of Reckoning with Scott Adkins, shows that each father and son know what it requires to put high quality action with each other for a Van Damme movie. The trailer looks fairly neat and fresh, and I can't wait until it gets a North American release.

The film is written by Eric Bromberg and James Bromberg, with fight choreography and stunt coordination by Borislav Iliev, whose credits also incorporate El Gringo, and the newly wrapped fantasy action adventure, Hercules 3D from director Renny Harlin.

Enemies Closer is currently due out for release in Germany on October 30, 2013. Remain tuned for future updates.

SYNOPSIS:
Deep inside a forest on the US-Canadian border, two sworn enemies should perform together to escape a ruthless drug cartel hell-bent on retrieving a drug shipment which went missing there.
