Jason Statham's HOMEFRONT Comes Home This Thanksgiving

Jason Statham may possibly be flexing his acting muscle tissues a tiny much more in his most current film, Redemption from writer/director Steven Knight (thanks to David Fintcher). But that doesn't imply action fans will not get their share of Cockney-accented badassery with what Statham has lined, including his subsequent film, Homefront, from writer/co-producer Sylvester Stallone and director Gary Fleder.

And just in time for Turkey Day!

Right after it was not too long ago announced that Open Road would release the film on October 4, 2013, The Wrap confirmed on Thursday that the film would release on November 27, 2013, competing in its very first week with against the loved ones film, Frozen, followed by The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Homefront, based on the novel by author Chuck Logan, focuses on a widowed ex-DEA agent who retires to a modest town for the sake of his ten-year-old daughter, where he ends up tangling with the neighborhood meth druglord. The film also stars James Franco, Winona Ryder, Kate Bosworth, and Frank Grillo. The film is also developed by Kevin King Templeton and John Thompson, whereas Avi Lerner, Trevor Quick, Boaz Davidson, and Mark Gill are the executive producers.

Remain tuned for a trailer hopefully to come quickly.
