Eric Lim Does Tokusatsu In SECONDARY EDUCATION


Following up his previous masterpiece, The Forge, is independent film actor Eric Lim in the function of an original Tokusatsu action comedy titled Secondary Education. Filmed among five days in July of final year although on location in at Eastern Regional Higher College in Voorhes, New Jersey, the quick film sees independent filmmaker Jon Truei directing behind the camera with Lim in the role of Eugene Yamamoto, a higher school science teacher forced to reside two-lives in a single day in between dealing with 3 little ones stuck in detention, and battling actor Jae Greene (Maximum Influence) as the villainous Clawster.

Secondary Education, now obtainable via YOMYOMF's YouTube portal, shows tons of spectacle and inventiveness and is nicely worthy of a look or two from a filmmaker who continuing to make fantastic strides in 2013. Action director Joey Min designed the spectacle for oft film companion, Truei who also co-wrote with Max Parr beneath Lim's Baby Under The Moon Productions banner. Josh Greenwald, Cosmo Sher and Michele Cutolo also star.

SYNOPSIS:
3 high school students are forced to make up a chemistry test for the duration of after school detention. Over the course of the afternoon, they learn that their Chemistry teacher, Eugene Yamamoto, has been leading a secret double life as a crime-fighting Power Ranger. When an escaped mutant lobster shows up in the hallways seeking revenge for his arrest at the hands of Mr. Yamamoto, they must use the science principles from the test that they failed to assist him defeat it.A hybrid throwback to the educational after school specials of the 90s and the Japanese Tokusatsu genre.
