Acclaimed master filmmaker Tsui Hark is back in action this year with the upcoming 3D action adventure spectacle, Young Detective Dee: Rise Of The Sea Dragon. The new, Chinese-subbed promo comes just many months soon after a 1st teaser arrived in June, followed by a second teaser late last month.
A prequel to Hark's 2010 predecessor, Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame, the film represents the most recent efforts at attaining 3D entertainment from film production business, Huayi Brothers, and is among a slate of other upcoming 3D releases this month and in following weeks thereafter, like director Law Wing Cheong's The Wrath Of Vajra the exact same week.
Young Detective Dee: Rise Of The Sea Dragon stars Mark Chao in the title part. The film also stars Feng Shaofeng, actress and Rise Of The Legend co-star Angelababy and South Korean actor Kim Bum in his China debut, Television actor Lin Gengxin and veteran Hong Kong actress Carina Lau. SYNOPSIS:
The young Dee Renjie arrives in the Imperial Capital, intent to turn into an officer of the law.
