The UK Gets A Trailer For 47 Ronin

The new UK trailer is up for the Christmas day release of 47 Ronin. The epic feature-length samurai adventure comes in light of actor Keanu Reeves' look in a steady slate of action vehicles with a number of films generating their way to theaters, or home, such as the current digital release of Reeves' directorial debut of Man Of Tai Chi. The actor is also set to make his way to theaters for title function in the new hitman revenge thriller, John Wick, from directors Chad Stahleski and David Leitch, along with co-star Willem Dafoe (Out Of The Furnace).

47 Ronin also stars Hiroyuki Sanada, Ko Shibasaki, Rinko Kikuchi and Tadanobu Asano.

SYNOPSIS:

Keanu Reeves tends to make an explosive return to an action-adventure in 47 Ronin. Right after a treacherous warlord kills their master and banishes their type, 47 leaderless samurai vow to seek vengeance and restore honor to their individuals. Driven from their properties and dispersed across the land, this band of ronin must seek the help of Kai (Reeves)—a half-breed they once rejected—as they fight their way across a savage planet of mythic beasts, shape shifting witchcraft and wondrous terrors. 

As this exiled, enslaved outcast becomes their most deadly weapon, he will transform into the hero who inspires this band of outnumbered rebels to seize eternity. 

Helmed by director Carl Rinsch (THE Gift), 47 Ronin is made Scott Stuber (TED, IDENTITY THIEF), Pamela Abdy (IDENTITY THIEF, UPCOMING ENDLESS Love) and Eric Mcleod (MR. & MRS. SMITH, AUSTIN POWERS SERIES).
