Vin Diesel Is Out For Blood In A Behind The Scenes Featurette For RIDDICK

These days we have a new behind the scenes featurette with actor and Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star recipient, Vin Diesel, and writer director David Twohy for the upcoming sci-fi thriller, Riddick. The featurette shares footage of the film seen in prior trailers and clips, as well as some new footage, in addition to a dialogue from Diesel and Twohy expressing their shared vision for a trilogy, reflecting on the mythology that surrounds the narrative of the story.

The featurette also comes in a week that shared surprising news that the actor was also tapped to commence Marvel's Phase 3 in a new film prior to in the end getting confirmed as the voice and mo-cap actor for the function of Groot in the upcoming August 1, 2014 release of Guardians Of The Galaxy.

A number of clips are also being released this week in advance of the film's upcoming September five, 2013 premiere, when 3D and IMAX theatergoers will acquire their own IMAX FanFix poster for the film. The poster was unveiled on Wednesday over at /Film.

Based on a screenplay by Ken Wheat and director David Twohy, Riddick stars Vin Diesel, with Karl Urban, Jordi Molla, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Bokeem Woodbine, Dave Bautista, Conrad Pla, Raoul Trujillo, Nolan Funk and Keri Hilson. The film releases nationwide on September 6, 2013.

SYNOPSIS:

Riddick, the most recent chapter of the groundbreaking saga that began with 2000's hit sci-fi film Pitch Black and 2004's The Chronicles of Riddick reunites writer/director David Twohy (A Excellent Getaway, The Fugitive) and star Vin Diesel (the Fast and Furious franchise, xXx). Diesel reprises his part as the antihero Riddick, a dangerous, escaped convict wanted by each and every bounty hunter in the identified galaxy.

The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Quickly, nevertheless, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators much more lethal than any human he's encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty.

The initial ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, much more lethal and violent, although the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is much more personal. With time operating out and a storm on the horizon that no 1 could survive, his hunters won't leave the planet with no Riddick's head as their trophy.
