Amidst it all, casting announcements naming Andy On and Collin Chou, along with teaser posters and set pics, and the guarantee of a 10-minute finale featuring a "raw and dirty street fight" have kept the film alive for fans everywhere. And with lead actor/producer/action director Yen and his team sharing the on-set genius with legendary stunt coordinator Bruce Law, today's juicy footage brings resolve for a film that has been a lengthy time coming.
Hopefully although, absolutely everyone in the film industry will see a lesson in all this, lest they want to end up with yet another film for us that shares the unfortunate fate that this one did.
Particular ID (a.k.a. Special Identity) is also executive produced by Peter Pau, and created by Yong Er, with actors Hanyu Zhang, Kun Yang, Tian Jing and Qi Daji rounding out the cast.
The film currently has a pending North American release date thanks to its acquistion by Properly Go USA. The film will release domestically on October three, 2013, courtesy of Easternlight Films.
